This Privacy Policy describes how Traaks collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use Traaks, our mobile application, and related services. Traaks is a private, invite-only app for tracking and rating places with trusted Groups.

We may collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of Traaks, and information collected automatically.
- Account information, such as your name, username, email address, phone number, password, and profile photo.
- Profile and preference information, such as your home city, favorite places, saved lists, tags, labels, dietary preferences, or other details you choose to add.
- User content, such as place ratings, reviews, notes, photos, comments, messages, reactions, and other content you add or share in Traaks.
- Group and invitation information, such as the people you invite, Groups you join, and permissions or visibility settings you select.
- Communications with us, including support requests, feedback, survey responses, or messages sent through social media or email.
- Device and usage information, such as browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, pages or screens viewed, access times, and interactions with the app.
- Location information, including general location and, if you authorize it, precise device location used to help you find, save, and rate places.
Information About Other People
Traaks may let you invite friends or contacts to join a private Group. If you provide contact information for another person, you should only do so with their permission. We use that information to send or manage the invitation and operate the invite-only experience.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide, personalize, protect, and improve Traaks. This may include using information to:
- Create and maintain your account and profile.
- Operate private Groups, invitations, ratings, lists, maps, messaging, and other app features.
- Show you reviews, recommendations, and place information from people in your trusted Groups.
- Remember your preferences and personalize your experience.
- Send service messages, support responses, security alerts, and product updates.
- Analyze usage, troubleshoot issues, prevent fraud or abuse, and improve Traaks.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
How We Share Information
Traaks is designed around private Groups, but some sharing is needed to run the service. We may share information:
- With other users in your Groups, based on your settings and the content you choose to share.
- With service providers that help us host, operate, analyze, support, secure, and improve Traaks.
- With third-party services you choose to connect to Traaks.
- With professional advisors, authorities, or other parties when necessary for legal, safety, security, or compliance reasons.
- In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not intend Traaks to be a public review platform. Content you share in Traaks should generally be visible only according to the Group and privacy settings available in the app.
Your Choices
You may be able to access, update, or delete certain account information through the app. You can also adjust app permissions, such as location access, in your device settings. Marketing emails, if any, may include an unsubscribe option, though we may still send service-related messages.
If you close your account, we may delete, anonymize, or retain certain information as needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or legitimate business purposes.
